Dr. Charles Redmond

Dr. Charles Redmond has been the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas, since January of 1990.

A graduate of Georgia State University (B.A.), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.), and Luther Rice Seminary (D.Min.), Dr. Redmond’s desire is to see people trust Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord and to help them grow in their relationship with Him.

Dr. Redmond and his wife, Dottie, have two sons. Their older son, Jon, is the Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church in Pasadena. Their younger son, Joel, is the owner of a mortgage company and is also involved in a variety of the ministries of the church. Joel is married, and he and his wife, Jodi, have two children, Charli Jo and Joel, Jr.

Dr. Jon Redmond

Jon Redmond is the Associate Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Pasadena, Texas. He has served on the church staff at First Baptist since 1995.

A graduate of Baylor University (B.A.), Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M. Div.), and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (D. Min.), Jon’s desire is to lead people to trust Jesus as their personal Savior and Lord and to help them grow in their relationship with Him.
